Community Guidelines
Last updated [Month DD, YYYY]
The rules that keep StarSing safe and respectful for riders and drivers.
1. Who these apply to
These Community Guidelines apply to everyone on StarSing — riders and drivers alike — and cover profiles, ratings, reviews, in-app messages, and conduct during trips. They are part of our Terms of Use.
2. What's not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
- Violence, or content that promotes or depicts it.
- Sexual content, sexual harassment, or any sexual misconduct.
- Illegal activity, weapons, or drugs.
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, or fake reviews.
- Unsafe behaviour, including dangerous or impaired driving.
- Sharing others' private information without consent.
3. Safety during trips
Treat one another with respect. Follow the law, wear seatbelts, and never drive under the influence. If you ever feel unsafe, contact local emergency services first, then report to us.
4. Reporting & how we respond
Report objectionable content or abusive behaviour using the report control on any profile, message, review, or trip, or email [safety@starsing.tech]. We review every report and act on confirmed violations within 24 hours — removing the content and suspending or permanently removing the user responsible.
5. Blocking
You can block another user at any time to prevent further contact or being matched together. Blocking is separate from reporting — you can do either or both.
6. Consequences
Depending on severity, violations may result in a warning, content removal, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Illegal conduct may be reported to authorities.
